We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Finance & Accounts Manager to join our corporate team in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will maintain accurate financial records, optimize cash flow, and provide strategic insights to support our continued growth in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts to ensure alignment with company targets.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns, VAT, pension remittances, and statutory compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Manage external audit processes and collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor cash flow projections and implement strategies to optimize liquidity.
  • Utilize ERP software and advanced accounting tools to streamline financial processes.
  • Implement robust financial policies and collaborate with project and quantity surveying teams for optimal resource allocation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as ICAN and an M.Sc. are distinct advantages.
  • 7 to 10 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 3 years at a management or supervisory level.
  • Demonstrated experience within the construction or engineering industry, including familiarity with job costing and project accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
