About the Role
Baker Hughes, a global leader in energy technology and oilfield services, is looking for a dedicated Field Specialist - Production Enhancement to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide critical technical expertise and field support for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal oil and gas performance.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery while maintaining strict compliance with company HSE standards and the Safety to Perform (STP) program.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to field crews, overseeing equipment readiness, inventory management, and resource planning.
- Manage onshore and offshore production enhancement operations, ensuring crew competency, accurate job planning, and adherence to contract requirements.
- Coordinate safe operations by validating job requirements, facilitating stakeholder communication, and managing operational deviations.
- Execute timely post-job reporting, equipment inspections, maintenance, and accurate job ticket processing for seamless invoicing.
- Minimum of a Two-Year Technical Degree from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of hands-on onshore or offshore oilfield service experience in pressure pumping and production enhancement operations.
- Strong technical competence with pressure pumping, manifold systems, and wellsite treating lines.
- Excellent computer literacy for data logging, report management, and operational documentation.
