About the Role
Kaplo Africa is Africa's most innovative Human Resource and Business Support Solutions provider, dedicated to delivering cutting-edge business advisory and human capital solutions across diverse sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced, technically competent, and safety-conscious Field Service / HSE Officer to oversee HVAC rental and maintenance activities at various customer locations in Benin.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day HVAC rental operations, ensuring quarterly preventive and corrective maintenance is executed on schedule.
- Coordinate, supervise, and provide technical support to field technicians to guarantee high service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess HVAC faults, supervise repairs, and manage customer accounts proactively.
- Handle inventory management by conducting stock-taking and ensuring proper deployment of spare parts and tools.
- Prepare accurate quotations, promptly raise invoices, and assist in payment follow-ups as required.
- Ensure strict compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, conducting hazard checks and enforcing PPE usage.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive periodic operational and incident reports to the Line Manager.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in HVAC repair, maintenance, field service, or facilities management.
- Mandatory possession of HSE Levels 1, 2, and 3 certifications.
- Strong practical expertise in air-conditioning installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
- Exceptional leadership, team coordination, and customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic operational reporting tools.
