About the Role
Amy Consulting is seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Sales Manager on behalf of Rubi Pharma to drive commercial growth and lead our nationwide field operations in Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for building, training, and supervising a high-performing team of Field Sales Officers while executing strategic territory expansion plans across the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive field sales strategies and territory coverage plans to drive revenue growth across Nigeria.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, training, and continuous coaching of Field Sales Officers.
- Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs, conducting regular field visits and ride-alongs.
- Build a strong supportive culture that drives team engagement, performance accountability, and employee retention.
- Gather critical market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer needs to inform executive decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with executive management, human resources, and operations to optimize supply chain and sales processes.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record in field sales leadership.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting, training, managing, and retaining geographically dispersed sales teams.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian pharmaceutical distribution landscape, key healthcare stakeholders, and territory planning.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
