About the Role
FairMoney, a leading digital financial platform in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Recovery / Verification Officer to join our team in Delta. In this vital role, you will help maintain portfolio health by managing loan collections, conducting customer verifications, and ensuring timely repayments across our growing customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular field visits to engage with defaulting customers, agents, and merchants to demand payments on overdue accounts using professional and legal means.
- Maintain a detailed daily activity log tracking metrics such as calls made, right-party contacts, promises to pay, and fulfilled settlements.
- Verify customer information and investigate discrepancies regarding overdue accounts to initiate daily follow-up actions.
- Negotiate and establish effective, structured payment plans and settlements to prevent further delinquency.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer objections, complaints, and pending payment issues swiftly.
- University degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in consumer loan operations, merchant management, or handling delinquent clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data tracking tools.
- High self-motivation with exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
