About the Role
Habrams Energy is looking for a driven and safety-conscious Field Operator I to join our dynamic operations team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in harnessing our capabilities through seamless collaboration and a can-do approach, delivering outstanding value while maintaining the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily operational activities in strict adherence to established safety, health, environmental, and security requirements.
- Conduct continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to identify corrective and optimization opportunities for reliable operations.
- Perform basic equipment care, simple maintenance activities, and collect product samples for laboratory analysis.
- Coordinate, monitor, and control maintenance activities in line with corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance plans.
- Maintain accurate logbook records of operational events, abnormal situations, and provide comprehensive shift handover information.
- Participate actively in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and emergency response activities in accordance with company guidelines.
- Provide operational support, well performance data, and assistance during well work and intervention activities.
- Completed secondary education with proven, relevant experience as a Field Technician or in a similar operational role.
- Strong commitment to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards with the ability to promote safe practices.
- Solid understanding of pipeline operations, safety management tools, and emergency preparedness procedures.
- Good oral and written communication skills with effective teamwork abilities.
