About the Role
New Incentives - All Babies Are Equal (NI-ABAE) is seeking committed and passionate Field Officers to expand our life-saving healthcare programs across Yobe State, Nigeria. In this full-time entry-level role, you will work directly at public health clinics to enroll eligible mothers, drive infant immunization compliance, and manage conditional cash transfers in partnership with the State Primary Healthcare Development Board.
Key Responsibilities- Enroll eligible beneficiaries securely, track infant vaccinations, and deliver essential health education to caregivers.
- Manage cash disbursements safely, submit accurate enrollment logs, and actively prevent fraudulent activities.
- Conduct community outreach, address barriers to vaccination, and track defaulters while maintaining strict data privacy.
- Maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, clinic staff, Imams, and traditional leaders to resolve operational issues.
- Follow organizational security protocols, conduct daily safety checks, and report all incidents promptly.
- Possess an SSCE, Diploma, CHEW, or related qualification with 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Must be an indigene of the target Local Government Area (LGA) and currently reside in the operational ward.
- Fluent in written and spoken Hausa and relevant local dialects.
- Proficient in smartphone usage, Microsoft Office, and basic data management.
- Demonstrated passion for community development, infant health advocacy, and reducing child mortality in Nigeria.
