About the Role
Mobihealth International is an international pioneer in innovative telemedicine and healthcare services, positioned to revolutionize healthcare access in developing countries. As Africa's first one-stop digital health portal, we connect millions of patients with global medical experts through video consultations, quality diagnostic tests, genuine medications, and specialist referrals. We are currently looking for a passionate and licensed Field Medical Doctor to join our dynamic team in Nigeria, delivering exceptional primary care through both our telehealth platform and partner pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough in-pharmacy and virtual medical consultations for patients of all age groups.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with best clinical practices.
- Prescribe medications safely utilizing our electronic prescribing systems and manage patient treatment plans.
- Facilitate seamless specialist referrals and coordinate diagnostic testing when clinically indicated.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) while ensuring strict patient confidentiality and data privacy.
- Deliver outstanding patient experiences by educating individuals on preventative healthcare and wellness management.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary pharmacy and support teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Possession of an MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- A valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in general practice.
- Prior experience working in telemedicine, digital health, or pharmacy collaboration is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and e-prescribing platforms.
