About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building an innovative financial ecosystem for businesses. We are looking for a results-driven Field Credit Officer to join our team in Osun. In this role, you will play a vital part in onboarding businesses, assessing credit applications, and managing loan portfolios while ensuring profitability and low default rates through rigorous risk analysis and physical visitations.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and onboard viable businesses within Osun to open and actively use Moniepoint business accounts.
- Engage customers to ensure optimal account usage, enabling them to qualify for access to our financial credit products.
- Review, analyze, and approve or decline loan requests using innovative digital tools and the 5Cs of credit.
- Conduct physical site visits to potential and active borrowers to evaluate business books, inventory, and turnover.
- Meet gross loan portfolio and profitability targets by maintaining a healthy, performing portfolio with minimized default rates.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management before, during, and after loan disbursement based on economic factors.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in any business-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis and financial evaluation.
- Must be currently resident in Osun State.
