About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We provide payment, banking, credit, and business management tools designed to help enterprises succeed. We are currently looking for a results-driven Field Credit Officer to join our dynamic team in Abia.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and onboard viable businesses within Abia (Ohafia, Osisioma, Abia North, and Abia Central) to open Moniepoint business accounts.
- Engage customers to ensure optimal account usage, enabling them to qualify for accessible credit products.
- Review, analyze, and approve or decline loan requests using available financial data and innovative assessment tools.
- Conduct physical site visits to potential borrowers to evaluate business books, inventory, and turnover.
- Meet gross loan portfolio and profitability targets while maintaining a healthy, low-default loan portfolio.
- Monitor active loans to guarantee continuous account utilization and timely repayments.
- Minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in credit product sales within a financial institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis and financial evaluation.
- Must reside in Abia, specifically within Ohafia, Osisioma, Abia North, or Abia Central.
