About the Role
Flexi Microfinance Bank (Flexi MFB) is a customer-focused financial institution dedicated to empowering individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses with easy access to financial services. We are seeking a diligent Field Anti-Fraud Officer to support our SME business by identifying, investigating, and preventing fraud arising from field sales and merchant activities. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization and protecting merchants from deception and unauthorized practices.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate suspected fraud involving Business Developers, agents, merchants, and field-facing personnel
- Conduct comprehensive field visits to verify merchant businesses, locations, transactions, and reported activities
- Examine allegations of Business Developers or agents defrauding, misleading, or exploiting merchants
- Identify inconsistencies, suspicious patterns, and process gaps that may facilitate fraudulent activities
- Prepare detailed investigation reports with findings and recommendations
- Conduct professional interviews and investigative calls with merchants and field agents
- 1-2 years of professional experience in fraud investigation, field verification, loan operations, credit, collections, or related roles
- Proven experience in fintech, digital lending, banking, or financial services (mandatory)
- Current residence in Lagos or Ogun State
- Strong investigative and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities and confidence conducting interviews
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple investigations simultaneously
