About the Role
Swift Networks is a leading indigenous Internet Service Provider in Nigeria, dedicated to delivering high-speed internet, telephony, and IP-VPN solutions to residential and enterprise subscribers throughout Lagos State. We are currently looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Fibre Technician to join our growing field operations team and ensure seamless network delivery for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain fibre optic systems and related hardware on customer premises.
- Perform precise fibre splicing, terminations, and rigorous network testing.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, diagnose faults, and execute prompt repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all installations, repairs, network diagrams, and service reports.
- Interact professionally with clients to understand requirements and ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies while working on-site.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a technical degree or professional certification in fibre optics is strongly preferred.
- Proven working experience in fibre optic installation, splicing, and network troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with specialized testing tools including fusion splicers and OTDR equipment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service delivery.
