Ngcom Network Solutions Ltd, a leading Internet Service Provider in Nigeria delivering unlimited internet solutions to home and corporate clients across Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Warri, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Fibre Engineer. In this vital role, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our robust fiber optic infrastructure, directly contributing to our mission of providing seamless connectivity nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Perform precision fiber splicing and termination across various network infrastructures.
- Conduct thorough OTDR and fiber testing to verify link performance and integrity.
- Diagnose and execute rapid fiber fault troubleshooting to minimize network downtime.
- Manage end-to-end network installation and routine maintenance operations.
- Interpret and work accurately from complex fiber and network diagrams.
- Collaborate effectively with field and operations teams to resolve technical challenges under pressure.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
- Demonstrate 5 to 6 years of hands-on professional experience in fiber optic engineering.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of basic IP and networking concepts.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
