About the Role
HT-Limited, a premier business management consulting firm, is recruiting a skilled Feedmill Supervisor/Manager on behalf of our esteemed client in the agribusiness sector in Nigeria. In this vital role, you will oversee daily feed production operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, superior quality, and strict compliance with agricultural safety standards to support thriving poultry and livestock production.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise raw material intake, formulation, grinding, mixing, and packaging processes.
- Implement efficient production schedules to meet exact livestock feed requirements.
- Ensure finished feed meets strict nutritional specifications, quality, and hygiene standards.
- Conduct routine checks on moisture, temperature, and microbial control while enforcing biosecurity protocols.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with technical teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal machine efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials and finished products, collaborating with procurement for timely reorders.
- Lead, train, and evaluate feed mill staff across shifts, promoting safety protocols and continuous development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, General Agriculture, or Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in feed mill operations or the broader agribusiness sector.
- Strong working knowledge of poultry nutrition, feed formulation, and milling machinery.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a track record of team supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and optimize production efficiency.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance, environmental safety standards, and biosecurity protocols in Nigeria.
