Key Responsibilities- Monitor birds and animals daily for health, unusual behavior, and overall activity levels.
- Identify and report sick or injured livestock immediately to farm management.
- Administer feed, water, and prescribed nutritional supplements accurately.
- Clean pens thoroughly, remove waste, and manage bedding to maintain high sanitation standards.
- Maintain and repair feeding and watering equipment as needed.
- Strictly follow all farm biosecurity protocols, including proper use of footbaths, PPE, and protective clothing.
- Accurately document daily mortality rates, feed consumption, and inventory changes.
- Assist veterinary and farm staff with vaccinations, sorting, loading, and medical treatments.
- Previous experience working with poultry or farm animals is preferred but not required.
- Strong ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict hygiene standards.
- Physically capable of lifting 30 to 50 lbs and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in warm, humid agricultural environments.
