About the Role
Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc is an integrated Nigerian agro-industrial company operating across key segments of the agricultural value chain, including poultry, aquaculture, oil palm, crop production, and animal feed, with a growing focus on processing and value addition. We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven Farm Operations Manager to optimize our agricultural productivity, streamline administrative workflows, and lead our onsite personnel toward achieving strategic organizational targets.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate daily farm operations, production activities, and administrative processes across various agricultural value chains.
- Supervise farm personnel, monitor staff schedules and attendance, and collaborate with HR to drive productivity and policy compliance.
- Monitor the utilization and proper maintenance of farm equipment, facilities, livestock, and other critical resources.
- Maintain accurate farm records, manage inventory systems, and prepare comprehensive operational reports for upper management.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, assess agricultural risks, and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, occupational health and safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate closely with department supervisors, management, and cross-functional teams to achieve yield and profitability targets.
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or HND in Agriculture or a related agricultural discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience within a commercial farm, agribusiness, or farm organization environment.
- Strong background in farm administration, operational management, and staff supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to analyze spreadsheets and generate detailed operational reports.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness and physical readiness to work in our farm environment located in Ijebu-Itele, Ogun State.
- Prior experience with farm management software, stock control systems, or health and safety protocols is an added advantage.
