We are currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Farm Operations Manager to oversee our poultry operations, manage livestock health and vaccinations, and drive strategic farm sales. The ideal candidate will combine hands-in agricultural expertise with strong business acumen to ensure high productivity and profitable operations across the board.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily poultry farm operations, encompassing feeding regimes, livestock health monitoring, and harvesting activities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive vaccination and medication programs to safeguard livestock health and minimize mortality rates.
- Supervise, train, and roster farm workers to ensure efficient, safe, and productive daily operations.
- Drive farm product marketing and sales initiatives while maintaining accurate, up-to-date operational and financial records.
- Monitor inventory levels of feed, medications, and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment to prevent operational downtime.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of proven professional experience in poultry management and agricultural product sales.
- Strong, practical knowledge of poultry health, disease prevention, and modern farm management practices.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in keeping detailed farm records.
