About the Role
Fine Trading International Limited Agricultural Farmland, located in Ogii Okigwe, Imo State, Nigeria, is currently seeking hardworking and dedicated Farm Hands to join our newly established agricultural project. Featuring existing old palm trees alongside newly planted Malaysian agri-palm, coconut, plantain, banana, and various vegetable crops such as cucumber, cabbage, and pepper, our farm is also developing a large-scale piggery. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career in modern Nigerian agriculture with a growing enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planting, weeding, pruning, and harvesting crops including plantain, banana, pineapple, and assorted vegetables.
- Support the maintenance and harvesting of palm fruit plantations.
- Feed, water, and monitor the health and growth of pigs in the piggery section.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across animal housing and farming areas.
- Operate and care for basic farm tools and agricultural equipment safely.
- Perform general manual labor tasks as assigned by the farm supervisor.
- Prior experience working on a farm or in agricultural settings is an added advantage.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of crop farming and animal husbandry practices.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively within a team.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Ogii Okigwe, Imo State, Nigeria.
