About the Role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Factory Operations Manager on behalf of our client in the manufacturing sector. In this leadership role, you will oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, drive production efficiency, and maintain strict quality and safety standards within a fast-paced plant environment. The ideal candidate brings specialized industry experience in construction chemicals or building materials manufacturing to optimize plant performance and achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all daily factory operations to ensure production targets, strict quality standards, and operational objectives are consistently achieved.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce operational waste, improve process efficiency, and optimize manufacturing costs.
- Oversee comprehensive production planning, inventory management, and resource allocation to guarantee uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Manage proactive preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to maximize equipment reliability and minimize costly operational downtime.
- Ensure full, uncompromising compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), quality assurance, and regulatory standards across the entire plant.
- Lead, mentor, and develop diverse production, engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and warehouse teams to deliver exceptional performance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate management qualification serves as a distinct professional advantage.
- Must possess 8 to 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience within the construction chemicals, building materials, or related industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in a senior factory, plant, or operations management role.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of production planning, process manufacturing, industrial automation, and quality management systems.
