About the Role
Benid Industries Limited, an established Nigerian manufacturing leader specializing in alcoholic beverages such as bitters, gin, schnapps, and wine since 2009, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager. Based at our primary factory along Auchi Road in Ugbe-Akoko, Ondo State, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing operations, maintaining product excellence, and driving efficiency across all production lines.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all daily production operations, including blending, formulation control, filtration, bottling, filling, and packaging.
- Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP standards, and all regulatory production safety procedures.
- Conduct regular sensory evaluations to assess the taste, aroma, colour, and overall quality of alcoholic beverages against approved standards.
- Optimize production workflows, minimize waste, and achieve operational targets for output and efficiency.
- Lead, train, and supervise the factory floor workforce to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to resolve production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
- At least five (5) years of relevant working experience in production management within the alcoholic beverage, brewery, distillery, or FMCG manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of modern beverage production processes and quality control frameworks.
- Well-developed sensory evaluation skills for assessing alcoholic beverage characteristics accurately.
- Professional training or certifications in production management, quality management, beverage technology, or food safety will be an added advantage.
