About the Role

Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is partnering with a leading manufacturing client to recruit an experienced Factory Operations Manager. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee end-to-end plant operations, drive production efficiency, and ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards within the construction chemicals and building materials sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all factory operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational objectives are achieved.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, improve process efficiency, and optimize manufacturing costs.
  • Oversee production planning, inventory management, and resource allocation to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), quality, and regulatory standards across all plant operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production, engineering, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to deliver high performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing within the construction chemicals, building materials, or related industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior factory, plant, or operations management role.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, process manufacturing, industrial automation, quality systems, and maintenance management.
  • Proven experience managing factory operations, production budgets, cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
