About the Role
SAO Group, a leading African Social Impact Investment and Advisory firm, is seeking a results-driven and professional Factory Human Resource Officer to join our dynamic team in Akure. In this critical role, you will oversee day-to-day human resources functions at our manufacturing facility, ensuring seamless alignment between factory operations and our core company values of sustainable economic impact and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for factory personnel and casual workers.
- Handle employee relations, resolve grievances promptly, and promote a harmonious workplace culture.
- Administer payroll inputs, attendance tracking, leave management, and employee benefit programs.
- Ensure strict adherence to labor laws, workplace health and safety regulations, and internal company policies.
- Coordinate regular staff training, performance appraisals, and career development initiatives within the plant.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and generate periodic HR reports for management review.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing, factory, or industrial environment.
- Must be currently resident in Akure or its immediate environs.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian labor laws and industrial relations practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software.
