About the Role
Total Child School is a prestigious co-educational Nursery, Primary, and Secondary School situated in a serene, natural, and highly conducive learning environment. To maintain our high standards, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Facility Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day supervision, maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of our school's physical infrastructure and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of school buildings, classrooms, offices, recreational areas, and grounds.
- Coordinate routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Supervise cleaning services, waste management, landscaping, and general environmental upkeep across the campus.
- Ensure all facilities meet strict health, safety, and environmental standards, addressing hazards promptly.
- Collaborate with the security team to maintain effective access control and protect school property.
- Manage external vendors, contractors, and service providers to guarantee quality and timely service delivery.
- Monitor utility usage including electricity, water, generators, and air-conditioning systems for optimal efficiency.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain comprehensive logs of defects and maintenance activities.
- Supervise support staff, assign daily duties, and prepare periodic reports on facility conditions and expenditures.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience as a Facility Supervisor or in a similar property management role, preferably within an educational institution.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and respond swiftly to facility emergencies.
