About the Role
Farm City Abuja is a premier 24-hour hospitality and lifestyle brand located in Wuse 2, Abuja, operating as a dynamic restaurant, lounge, café, bar, and game arcade. We are seeking a proactive, technically skilled, and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our expansive facility, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and general upkeep of the restaurant, game arcade, offices, and back-of-house areas.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify faults, safety risks, and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, and water systems.
- Ensure all arcade machines, furniture, fittings, and facility assets remain fully functional to minimize operational downtime.
- Supervise technicians, artisans, cleaners, and external contractors while managing vendor relationships.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate records of repairs and facility expenses.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, fire, and environmental standards across the establishment.
- Handle facility-related emergencies promptly and provide regular condition reports to management.
- HND or B.Sc. in Facility Management, Engineering, Estate Management, Building Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in facility management, preferably within a restaurant, hotel, recreational, or entertainment facility.
- Strong expertise in supervising technicians, artisans, and third-party contractors.
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, with HSE certification being an added advantage.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and emergency-response skills.
