About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of our corporate facilities in Nigeria. In this role, you will ensure that our buildings, equipment, utilities, and general working environment are maintained to the highest standards, directly supporting our daily business operations and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the maintenance and daily operations of the facility, including electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and related equipment.
- Develop and implement robust preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Supervise facility support staff, technicians, and external service providers to guarantee high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, fire prevention, and environmental regulations in Nigeria.
- Monitor facility expenses, manage maintenance budgets, and maintain an accurate inventory of supplies.
- Identify and promptly resolve maintenance issues and operational faults.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and proper upkeep of the premises.
- Coordinate major repairs, renovations, and scheduled equipment servicing.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, safety inspections, and facility-related expenses.
- Ensure the uninterrupted operation of essential utilities and facility systems.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in facility management or a similar operational role.
- Strong working knowledge of building maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, and general facility operations. Good organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage vendors effectively.
- Strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to handle emergency situations under pressure.
- Prior experience in the hospitality or corporate facility management industry will be an added advantage.
