About the Role
Isalu Hospitals Limited, a leading specialist healthcare provider in Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos State, is seeking a proactive and technically competent Facility Manager to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will take full ownership of our hospital's facilities, utilities, and physical infrastructure, ensuring they remain safe, fully functional, and reliable. Your expertise will directly support our mission of delivering top-class medical care with minimal disruption to patient services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance programmes across all hospital branches.
- Oversee critical infrastructure including electricity, high-capacity generators, water supply, plumbing, HVAC, elevators, and drainage systems.
- Conduct routine facility inspections to proactively identify defects and ensure prompt resolution of maintenance emergencies.
- Monitor utility performance, fuel consumption, and implement effective cost-control measures for maintenance budgets.
- Supervise in-house maintenance personnel, external contractors, and service providers to verify high standards of completed work.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and fire-safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and utility usage.
- B.Sc. or HND in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant facility, property, or maintenance management experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Prior working experience in a hospital, healthcare facility, hotel, or other 24/7 critical-service environment is a strong advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications in Facility Management, Engineering, HSE, or Project Management will be added advantages.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in electrical systems, generator operations, plumbing, and HVAC troubleshooting.
