We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Facility / Electrical Technician to join our team in Abuja, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the electrical infrastructure that keeps our operations running seamlessly and safely every day.
Key Responsibilities- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems, wiring, panels, and power distribution infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults and system failures efficiently and independently.
- Ensure the continuous, reliable operation of power supply systems, backup generators, and inverter units.
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on facility electrical equipment to mitigate potential downtime.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, sudden outages, and urgent maintenance requests.
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all operations.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inspections.
- Collaborate with general facility maintenance teams and coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Proven hands-on professional experience in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and facility maintenance.
- Deep understanding of building electrical systems, power distribution, and safety protocols.
- Demonstrated experience working with generators, inverters, and alternative power backup systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, technical aptitude, and keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional reliability, responsiveness, and ability to handle high-pressure emergency situations.
- Must reside within Lugbe, Airport Road, Galadimawa, or immediately surrounding areas in Abuja.
