About the Role

The Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Facilities Manager for our manufacturing plant in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. In this vital role, you will ensure that our plant's utilities, grounds, and support services remain safe, clean, fully compliant, and operational. You will direct a dedicated team of supervisors, technicians, and service personnel while maintaining critical relationships with regulatory bodies such as LAWMA to support our world-class manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set, monitor, and enforce rigorous housekeeping, hygiene, and cleanliness standards across all plant offices, production areas, and common spaces.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations and waste manifests.
  • Manage end-to-end vendor lifecycles, including onboarding service providers, negotiating SLAs, and tracking performance KPIs.
  • Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, maintaining emergency readiness and investigating facilities-related incidents promptly.
  • Lead, train, and appraise the facilities administration team while delivering comprehensive weekly and monthly operational reports.
Qualifications
  • B.Sc. or HND in Facilities Management, Engineering, Estate Management, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of facilities management experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within a plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Recognized professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, IFMA, BIFM, or PMP will be an added advantage.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Lagos State regulatory agencies including LAWMA and LASEPA.
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, budget control, contract negotiation, and proactive problem-solving.
