About the Role
YellowDoor Hotels is a premier boutique hotel in Abuja dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences for discerning business executives and leisure travelers. At the heart of our guest experience is The Living Room, our vibrant restaurant and bar. We are currently seeking a dynamic and hands-on Food and Beverage Manager who leads from the floor, owns financial metrics, and builds high-performing teams rather than managing from behind a desk.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee seamless daily operations across all food and beverage outlets and service areas.
- Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a dedicated team of 11 to 20 F&B professionals.
- Monitor food cost, wastage, and revenue figures weekly, taking prompt corrective action on variances.
- Ensure meticulous recording of all stock, purchase orders, billing, and complimentary items.
- Maintain uncompromising standards of food safety, hygiene, and visual presentation during every shift.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and elevate service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all F&B touchpoints.
- 3 to 7 years of progressive experience in F&B operations management within the hospitality industry.
- Proven expertise in floor leadership, staff scheduling, and labor management.
- Strong financial acumen encompassing F&B cost control, inventory management, menu costing, and pricing.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP compliance.
- Proficiency in utilizing modern POS and F&B management systems.
- Formal training in culinary arts, F&B management, or revenue control is a distinct advantage.
