About the Role
NutriK FZE, a proud subsidiary of the globally recognized Nutriset Group, plays a vital role in producing and distributing high-quality ready-to-use foods that support the treatment and prevention of malnutrition across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Extrusion Supervisor to join our Production Department in Kano, helping us drive our mission to save lives and improve community health.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily extrusion operations, ensuring production targets are achieved with minimal waste and high OEE performance.
- Monitor and adjust extrusion parameters including moisture, temperature, and screw configuration to maintain product specifications.
- Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Manage, train, and coach extrusion operators and assistants while efficiently allocating workforce resources.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance, routine equipment inspections, and sanitation activities with the Maintenance Department.
- Investigate process deviations, troubleshoot mechanical or thermal issues, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Food Engineering, Food Science and Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in grain processing, cereal production, or food extrusion.
- Strong operational knowledge of twin-screw or single-screw extrusion systems.
- Proficiency in HACCP, ISO standards, data analysis, and report writing.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
