About the Role
Nutri K Limited is dedicated to the fight against malnutrition in Nigeria, specializing in the manufacturing of specialized nutritional foods for children. We are currently looking for a diligent and skilled Extrusion & Packing Process Operator to join our dynamic production team in driving our mission forward.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and maintain the grain extrusion, drying, cooling, and grinding lines according to approved operating procedures.
- Adjust dryer temperatures, airflow, moisture targets, and monitor critical parameters like pressure, screw speed, and product density.
- Perform routine quality checks including moisture, density, temperature, and particle size inspections while strictly adhering to ISO and HACCP guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and dust-free workspace, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lock-out procedures.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the Extrusion Controller and packing staff, providing clear shift handovers and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Minimum of an OND in Mechanical, Industrial, or Food Processing Technology, or an equivalent technical qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience operating food processing or extrusion equipment.
- Proficiency in computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook, alongside experience with HMI operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and effective communication skills in English.
