About the Role
Singapore View Hotel and Suites is a premier hospitality destination located in the vibrant heart of Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State. We are currently seeking a meticulous and analytical External Auditor to evaluate our financial records, assess operational integrity, and ensure full regulatory compliance. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our financial health and maintaining the high standards of transparency that our business is built upon.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough independent audits of financial statements, transactions, and accounting records for the hotel.
- Evaluate existing internal control systems and recommend improvements to mitigate financial risks and prevent fraud.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory regulations, and industry accounting standards.
- Prepare comprehensive, accurate audit reports detailing findings and actionable recommendations for management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial discrepancies and streamline accounting processes.
- Review inventory management, procurement processes, and revenue collection systems across all hotel departments.
- Possession of an OND, HND, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in auditing, accounting, or financial analysis, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local financial regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
