Key Responsibilities- Define the regional geological framework of sedimentary basins by synthesizing geological and geophysical information.
- Identify, evaluate, and model geological components that characterize hydrocarbon generation and accumulation processes.
- Develop detailed geological maps and cross-sections to represent the distribution of subsurface features.
- Conduct integrated seismic data interpretation from a regional context to prospect scale to identify structural and stratigraphic traps.
- Integrate seismic and geological models with non-seismic geophysical data and specialized studies.
- Define geophysical data acquisition objectives and support ongoing exploration workflows.
- BSc or MSc in Geology, Geophysics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Significant relevant professional experience within the oil and gas upstream sector.
- Comprehensive expertise in basin assessment, screening, geophysical data interpretation, and prospect generation.
- In-depth knowledge of structural geology, sedimentology, stratigraphy, petrophysics, and reservoir characterization.
- Strong capabilities in risk analysis, data management, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
