About the Role
WosAm Arena, one of the premier hospitality and leisure destinations in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, is seeking a courteous, energetic, and customer-focused Waiter or Waitress. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring every visit to our hotel, lounge, and cafe exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating as required.
- Present menus and provide detailed, accurate information regarding food and beverage options.
- Take food and drink orders promptly and transmit them accurately to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve meals and beverages professionally following established hospitality standards.
- Check in on guests regularly to ensure complete satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Process bills and manage payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness and proper arrangement of tables and service stations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow F&B team members.
- Adhere strictly to local and international food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Proactively upsell menu specials and promotional items to enhance revenue.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or F&B Supervisor.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a waiter, waitress, or server in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or lounge.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm, polite, and efficient in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong basic math skills for order processing and billing.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
