Teestone Hotel & Apartments is a premier modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just 15 minutes from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We are currently seeking a professional, courteous, and customer-focused Hotel Waiter / Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team and ensure our guests receive top-tier dining service.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements in the dining area.
- Present menus and provide detailed, enthusiastic information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently, maintaining proper etiquette and professional standards.
- Check on guests regularly during their meals to ensure complete satisfaction and address concerns.
- Process guest bills and handle cash or electronic payments accurately.
- Set up, clear, and sanitize tables before, during, and after service.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and hotel operational standards at all times.
- Assist with banquet, conference, and special event services as required by management.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven previous experience working as a waiter, waitress, or in a similar hospitality role.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
