Teestone Hotel & Apartments is a premier modern boutique hotel located in the peaceful neighborhood of Ikeja, just minutes away from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Experienced Hotel Housekeeper to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring every guest enjoys a spotless, relaxing, and memorable stay with us in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Clean, dust, sanitize, and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public spaces according to strict hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, professionally make beds, and replenish towels, toiletries, and guest amenities promptly.
- Perform heavy cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and window washing as required.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards and report them immediately to the maintenance department.
- Stock and manage housekeeping carts and supplies efficiently to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Handle lost and found items with strict adherence to hotel documentation and handover protocols.
- Respond professionally, courteously, and promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and special needs.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, sanitation, and privacy regulations at all times.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent high school qualification.
- Proven previous experience working as a housekeeper in a reputable hotel or hospitality environment is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and perform manual cleaning tasks for extended periods.
- Outstanding attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to hygiene and cleanliness.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
