Key Responsibilities- Record, classify, and summarize daily financial transactions including room revenue, food and beverage sales, and banquet income.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements alongside accurate general ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, timely tax remittances, and accurate monthly payroll processing.
- Implement robust internal financial controls, monitor operating expenses, and conduct detailed variance analyses.
- Assist upper management in developing annual budgets, forecasting performance, and managing daily cash flow.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification such as ACA or ACCA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on accounting experience within the Nigerian hospitality or hotel management sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard hotel property management systems, POS software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of local tax laws, statutory deductions, and financial auditing standards.
