About the Role
Hotel Capitol, a premier three-star luxury destination strategically located in the heart of Omole Phase 1, Lagos, is seeking a skilled and professional Experienced Driver to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe, comfortable, and efficient transportation services for our esteemed guests and hotel executives. You will represent our brand with utmost professionalism, ensuring adherence to all road safety regulations while navigating Lagos mainland and inter-state routes with ease.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough daily routine checks on the assigned vehicle before movement, including oil, water, tire pressure, and brake inspections.
- Obey all traffic laws and regulations strictly to guarantee the absolute safety of passengers and the vehicle.
- Monitor and ensure the constant validity of all vehicle papers, insurance, and personal driving documents.
- Execute interstate travels smoothly and professionally when required for official hotel engagements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of all driving activities, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the vehicle are kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene, courtesy, and responsible conduct while interacting with guests and staff.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the operational demands of a 28-room luxury hotel.
- Minimum of SSCE qualification with good communication skills.
- Must possess a valid and current Lagos State Driver's License.
- At least 3 years of verifiable professional driving experience within a reputable organization or hospitality establishment.
- Proficient in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles with sound knowledge of Lagos road networks.
- Must reside within the Ogba, Akute, Ojodu Berger, Ojota, Ketu, Agege, or Iju Ishaga axes for easy commuting.
