About the Role
Hotel Capitol, a premier three-star luxury hotel strategically located in the heart of Omole Phase 1, Lagos, is currently seeking a reliable and professional Experienced Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring safe, comfortable, and timely transportation across Lagos and for inter-state travels.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily routine checks on the vehicle before movement, including oil, water, tire pressure, and brake inspections.
- Obey all traffic rules, regulations, and laws to ensure absolute safety on the road.
- Monitor vehicle particulars, insurance, and personal driving documents to guarantee constant validity.
- Handle both intra-state and inter-state travels efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of all driving activities, fuel consumption, and mileage records.
- Ensure the utmost safety and comfort of passengers at all times by adhering strictly to safety protocols.
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, professional decorum, and responsible behavior.
- Demonstrate willingness to work flexible hours to meet the operational demands of the hotel.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional driving experience in a structured corporate organization or hospitality setting.
- Possession of a valid and current Driver's License.
- Proficiency in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles expertly.
- In-depth knowledge of Lagos routes and major inter-state highways.
- Proximity to the mainland axis is required; candidates must reside around Ogba, Akute, Ojodu Berger, Agege, Ojota, Ketu, Magboro, or surrounding areas.
