About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and supply chain solutions to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a dedicated Expediting Services Personnel to join our dynamic Contracts and Procurement team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that all procured materials and safety-critical equipment are delivered on time, meeting strict quality standards, and complying with all internal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure full compliance with company purchasing processes, JV rules, country laws, and H3SE regulations.
- Monitor and follow up on purchase orders from issuance until final handover to Transit or Techlog reception.
- Track supplier delivery schedules, verify progress reports, and proactively identify and avert potential delays.
- Review PO readiness checklists, clarify discrepancies, and expedite missing documents or drawings from vendors.
- Maintain up-to-date delivery information and communicate status updates to buyers, technical entities, and project stakeholders.
- Analyze delivery delays to estimate liquidated damages and participate actively in H3SE meetings and safety drills.
- Degree in Engineering, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field (Purchasing & Supply preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience within the Oil and Gas industry and Supply Chain capacity.
- Active membership in relevant professional bodies in supply chain and operational functions is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of commercial, legal, and insurance issues affecting the industry.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
