About the Role
Mase Contractors is a reputable enterprise with broad expertise and experience in varying areas of engineering consulting and civil engineering construction. We are currently looking for a professional and dedicated Executive Driver to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for conveying company executives, staff, and clients safely and efficiently to various destinations while maintaining the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport company executives, staff, and clients to designated locations within Lagos and surrounding areas.
- Plan efficient travel routes using navigation applications such as Google Maps while staying updated on traffic patterns.
- Conduct routine daily inspections of the assigned vehicle to check fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and general mechanical condition.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate timely vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
- Ensure the official vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and secure at all times.
- Maintain accurate logs of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance expenses.
- Adhere strictly to Nigerian traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Perform minor errand-running and other related logistical duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Extensive and practical knowledge of Lagos roads, terrain, and surrounding states.
- Proficiency in using modern navigation tools and smartphone mapping applications.
- Strong communication skills, absolute honesty, punctuality, and a responsible attitude.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Physically fit for the duties required and willing to work flexible hours when necessary.
