About the Role
Prodevs is looking for a dynamic and technically proficient EV & Charging Operations Lead to drive our electric vehicle fleet operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will ensure high vehicle availability, manage charging infrastructure uptime, and oversee maintenance protocols to support our sustainable mobility goals. You will play a crucial part in optimizing energy consumption and maintaining safety standards across our expanding EV fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage daily vehicle charging schedules to ensure maximum fleet readiness.
- Monitor battery health, charging status, and overall vehicle operational readiness.
- Coordinate both preventive and corrective maintenance programs with internal and external partners.
- Diagnose first-line EV and charging faults, coordinating effectively with OEM or specialist service providers.
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance and service records for every vehicle in the fleet.
- Manage charger uptime, proactively addressing and escalating infrastructure failures.
- Track energy consumption metrics and calculate cost-per-kilometre performance.
- Manage spare parts inventory, warranties, and relationships with repair vendors.
- Conduct rigorous pre-deployment vehicle inspections prior to daily operations.
- Establish, implement, and enforce strict EV and charging safety procedures.
- Electrical, mechanical, or automotive engineering/technical background.
- Hands-on experience in EVs, automotive diagnostics, charging infrastructure, solar/battery systems, or modern vehicle electrical systems.
- EV and high-voltage certifications will be a strong added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to fleet and infrastructure management.
- Competitive monthly compensation of ₦400,000 - ₦550,000.
