About the Role
Brown Skin Girl (BSG) Skincare is seeking a passionate and experienced Esthetician with expertise in advanced, basic, and laser treatments to join our dynamic team. As a premier Nigerian skincare brand dedicated to plant-based and nature-inspired formulations crafted specifically for Black skin, we pride ourselves on delivering transformative skincare experiences. In this role, you will provide personalized skin assessments, advanced treatments, and expert skincare advice, helping our clients achieve healthy, glowing skin using our signature natural products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive skin analyses and recommend customized treatment plans tailored to diverse skin types, with a strong focus on Black skin.
- Execute a wide range of professional esthetic services, including basic facials, advanced skin treatments, and laser procedures safely and effectively.
- Educate clients on proper home-care regimens and recommend suitable Brown Skin Girl BSG Skincare products.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety within the treatment rooms in accordance with industry regulations.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date client records, tracking treatment progress and product usage.
- Stay current with the latest skincare trends, laser technologies, and industry best practices.
- Certification in Esthetics, Cosmetology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Proven hands-on experience performing basic esthetics, advanced skin treatments, and laser procedures.
- Deep understanding of skin physiology, particularly the unique characteristics and needs of Melanin-rich skin.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
