About the Role
Cedarville School is an esteemed co-educational Christian institution located in a serene estate in Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team and help shape the minds of our diverse student body from nursery through secondary levels.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Develop robust lesson plans aligned with both the Nigerian curriculum and international standards.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and timely assessments.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to enhance the overall academic and moral development of students.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Must possess a relevant academic qualification in English Language, Education, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience with a strong background in WAEC/NECO and IGCSE curricula.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
