About the Role
Silver Slate Schools is looking for a dedicated English Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction and foster a love of language and literature in our students. You will play a vital role in shaping young minds while working within a supportive, Islamic-centered educational framework that prioritizes both academic excellence and holistic child development.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the curriculum and learning outcomes
- Create and manage a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student success
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate innovative teaching methods and educational best practices
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student performance and development
- Contribute to the school's commitment to Islamic values and character development
- Minimum of NCE (National Certificate of Education) or equivalent qualification in English or related field
- Teaching experience in primary or secondary education (an added advantage)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent classroom management abilities
