Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive English language and literature lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and individualized support to improve literacy skills.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Design and grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations to measure academic development effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral progress.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to address student needs and promote overall academic success.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in English Language, Education, or a related field (NCE or Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Proven teaching experience within a recognized primary or secondary school setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
