Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English Language and English Literature for Senior Secondary students in Years 10 to 12 (SSS 1-3).
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans utilizing the recommended national curriculum and approved textbooks.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations including WAEC, ensuring high success rates.
- Foster self-confidence, critical thinking, and mastery of the English language among all learners.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to plan, organize, and execute school events and co-curricular activities.
- Maintain open, professional communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and academic development.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) or B.A in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English Language and Literature at the Senior Secondary School level (Years 10-12).
- Exceptional command of both spoken and written English, with a deep understanding of English literature.
- Strong familiarity with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum and WAEC examination requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to build self-confidence in students and manage a diverse classroom environment.
