About the Role
The Lamb Academy is a newly established, prestigious educational institution located along the Lotto/Shimawa Road in Mowe. We are dedicated to providing a well-rounded education within a safe, secure, and technologically advanced environment. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Language Teacher to inspire our students and foster a lifelong love for literature and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive English Language lessons aligned with international curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic and personal growth.
- Utilize information and communication technology (ICT) tools effectively to enhance classroom instruction and remote learning capabilities.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to develop innovative literacy programs and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) focusing on English Language or a related field from a reputable institution.
- Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a Master's degree will be an added advantage.
- Must be a registered and certified member of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant post-qualification teaching experience, preferably within an international school setting.
- Strong working knowledge of IGCSE curriculum standards is highly desirable.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
