Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality English language and literature lessons tailored to diverse student proficiency levels.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with British international school standards and learning objectives.
- Assess student progress regularly, maintain accurate academic records, and provide constructive, actionable feedback to students and parents.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective written and verbal communication inside and outside the classroom.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that promotes mutual respect and student engagement.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, NCE, or Diploma in English Language, Linguistics, Literature, or Education.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in English language mechanics, grammar, and literature instruction.
- Familiarity with modern language learning technologies and content-based instruction methodologies.
- Mandatory requirement: Must currently reside in Benin City or be willing to relocate prior to resumption.
