Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English Language and Literature-in-English lessons in accordance with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom management style that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
  • Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback and timely evaluations.
  • Prepare students effectively for external examinations including WAEC, NECO, and BECE.
  • Participate actively in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
  • Uphold the Christian values and ethos of the school in daily interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of an NCE or B.Ed in English Language, Education, Literature-in-English, or a closely related field.
  • Proven teaching experience in secondary education with a strong track record of student success.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated expertise in modern classroom management techniques and lesson planning.
